Parish Council
The Parish Council has recently reached out to the Suffolk Biodiversity Information Service to ask for help identifying and confirming the variety and richness of the flora and fauna - specifically bats, dormice, GCN, service tree, wild orchid, bluebell, barn owl, but also any other rare, red or amber listed, important species.
The focal point is Elms Grove but including Round Wood and possibly Burstall Long Wood and covering at least a one kilometre radius of Elm Grove.
The data research results are quite outstanding -
The Merlin Bird ID App
Sound ID listens to the birds around you and shows real-time suggestions for who’s singing. Compare your recording to the songs and calls in Merlin to confirm what you heard. Sound ID works completely offline, so you can identify birds you hear no matter where you are.
